Copper wire is an integral part of the wire harness. The quality of the copper wire is related to the quality of the wire harness. Therefore, the wire harness processing manufacturer needs to have a test standard for the copper wire. What are the standards?

1, appearance inspection
Place the bobbin full of copper wire on the packaging table, place one hand with white paper 1 to 2 cm away from the copper wire, and the other hand roll the copper wire spool for one week, then visually Whether the appearance has reached the following criteria.

(1) The surface should be smooth, free of chaos, no oxidation, and there should be no scratches.
(2), the line should be even, there is no stacking edge and under-edge conditions, and there can be no stocks.
(3) The tension should be moderate, not too loose or too tight.
(4) The surface may not be sticky after the copper wire is rolled.

2, the detection of wire diameter
The wire diameter should be produced according to national standards. If the customer has special requirements, it also needs strict control according to its requirements. The specific steps are as follows:
(1), first debug the next micrometer is not zero.
(2) Place the copper wire to be inspected outside the clamp line of the micrometer and use appropriate force to twist the end of the micrometer.
(3) If you hear the micrometer rang three times, immediately observe its reading.
(4) It is necessary to carry out repeated inspections until the readings are the same. Each time, the same position cannot be detected, and the inspection is performed in sections.

3. Elongation test
Elongation rate should be tested according to relevant national standards. If customers have special requirements, they should also be strictly controlled according to requirements. The specific steps are as follows:
(1), open the switch of the elongation tester
(2) Check whether the sensor clip on the left side of the copper wire is in the original position, and whether the reading displayed on the instrument has returned to zero. If the clip on the left side is not in the original position, and the reading displayed by the instrument is not zeroed, then To immediately press the zero button and the recovery button.
